SJR State District Board of Trustees meeting March 27, 2024
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT RULE
PALATKA, FL (February 27, 2024) -
The District Board of Trustees of St. Johns River State College will hold a public hearing for the following rules to be taken into consideration:
- Amendment to SJR State Board Rule 6.03 (R8) Standards of Conduct
- Amendment to SJR State Board Rule 6.33 (R2) Student Ombudsman
- Amendment to SJR State Board Rule 7.22 (R14) Limited Access Program
- Changes to Admission and Readmission requirements for the following programs:
- AS: Nursing (including LPN Bridge program)
- AS: Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology (new program)
- AS: Health Information Technology
- AS: Radiologic Technology
- AS: Respiratory Care
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the
Thrasher-Horne Conference Center, Suites C & D on the Orange Park Campus, 283 College Drive, Orange Park, Florida. Authority for the rules is found in Florida Statutes, Section 1001.64 (18). Estimated economic impact on all affected persons cannot be determined at this time.

Substantially affected persons may, within 14 days of the date of this notice, file an
objection to this rulemaking with the agency. The objection shall specify the portions of the
proposed rules to which the person objects and the specific reasons for the objection.
