Join us for an elegant evening in support of student success at the St. Johns River State College Foundation’s signature fundraising event.
The President’s Gala brings together more than 300 business and community leaders for a memorable evening featuring a cocktail reception, dining on stage at the beautiful Thrasher-Horne Center, exceptional cuisine, and inspiring student stories that highlight the real impact of philanthropy.
Every day, the SJR State College Foundation strengthens the College by providing resources the institution alone cannot. Through donor support, the Foundation awards scholarships, assists students facing unexpected financial emergencies through the Random Acts of Kindness Fund and helps students remain enrolled, despite setbacks, to achieve their educational goals.
Foundation support also extends beyond scholarships to student clubs and organizations, Adult Education, nursing and workforce certifications, and assistance when curriculum or certification changes create new student costs. As students face increased financial strain, the Foundation helps bridge critical gaps, so education remains accessible to all.
Hosted by long-time Clay County resident Van Royal, this evening celebrates the generosity that supports students, employees, and campuses which strengthens the workforce and communities St. Johns River State College serves.
