SJR State law enforcement cadets recognized

SJR State criminal justice instructor John Donlon presents Curtis Boesdorfer with the Academic Achiever award for the highest GPA and John Puente with the Most Proficient in Firearms award.
Cadets from the St. Johns River State College Criminal Justice Academy were recently recognized for completing the Florida Law Enforcement Academy program.
The guest speaker was Shawn Hines, Chief of Police, Green Cove Springs Police Department.
During the ceremony, Curtis Boesdorfer was awarded as the Highest Academic Achiever. John Puente was awarded the Most Proficient in Firearms.
The graduates include David Attivissimo, Curtis Boesdorfer, Vincent Brown II, Natalie Butcher, Faith Carlson, Destiney Coleman, Jennifer Crews, Caleb Dean, William Ellis, Gage Ewert, Kaylee Ference, Malachi Garrison, Tyler Garrison, Andrey Gaydarzhi, Kerry Harrison, Christopher Herbert, Joelle Lima, Bill Mango, Alexander McKenzie, Cole Megowan, James Messer, Jamie Nguyen, Brett Palladino, John Puente, Angyl Santillana, Khristian Santos, Frederick Saporita, Ethan Sharp, Zachary Smith, Stefanos Tzirakis and Johannes Vosloo.
Located at the St. Augustine campus, SJR State’s Criminal Justice Academy provides job-related training to prepare cadets for entry-level employment in the field. Upon completion of the certificate programs, cadets will be eligible to take the state certification exam. The certificates also provide credit hours that can be transferred to SJR State’s associate in science degree in criminal justice technology.

Applications for the new Bachelor of Science In Criminal Justice, Applied Intelligence Studies and the Associate in Science in Paralegal Studies are available online. Classes begin in August.
