Coming Fall 2025: Student Housing on the Palatka Campus!

St. Johns River State College is proud to announce the anticipated opening of student housing on the Palatka Campus fall 2025. Conveniently located just a short walk from classrooms, laboratories and student activities, students will experience a keen sense of community living.

Residents will enjoy a secure and convenient work, study and living environment in fully furnished apartment-style housing with single or shared bedrooms. Amenities include free Wi-Fi throughout the building, central laundry facility, community lounges, on-site parking, outside grounds for sports, and the Capstone on Campus Management (COCM) residential life team working to create a warm, welcoming environment for students.

“Prospective students and families can now rest assured they have a secure and comfortable living option while pursuing degrees at St. Johns River State College,” said President Joe Pickens. “It’s going to be a transformational change for the community and Palatka Campus, bringing vibrant campus life.”

COCM, the nation’s largest on-campus third-party student housing management firm, will professionally manage the new community and work with the College to build a strong residential community that supports student success.

COCM looks forward to welcoming the first residents to their new home August 2025. The online housing application will open in mid-March with leasing activities and room assignments to continue through the spring and summer.
