Current-Use Scholarships - With an annual gift of $1,000 or more, you can provide a scholarship for a deserving student. Establish a one-time award or renew it each year to support student success.

Endowments - Create a permanent legacy by establishing an endowment fund starting at $10,000. Your gift is invested, ensuring ongoing support for students for generations to come.

Online Giving - Give securely via PayPal. Be sure to include your name and email, and if this gift is in honor or memory of someone, let us know!

Non-Cash Gifts - Make a difference through stocks, real estate, personal property, or gifts-in-kind. Reach out to us to discuss these unique giving opportunities.

Payroll Deduction  - SJR State employees can make a one-time or recurring gift to the area of their choice through payroll deduction. Complete the form and return it to the Foundation office.

Planned Giving  - Leave a lasting impact through annuities, bequests, trusts, or wills. Contact JoLynnCarter@sjrstate.edu to explore how your legacy can benefit future generations.

RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) - Support students in times of need with RAK (Random Acts of Kindness). Life’s unexpected challenges shouldn’t stand in the way of students success. RAK provides immediate assistance to SJR State students facing unforeseen financial hardships. Your contribution to the RAK Student Support Fund helps students stay focused on their education by providing critical support when they need it most. As part of RAK, the Viking Exchange offers essential resources- including perishable and non-perishable food, hygiene products, clothing, and school supplies- to students in need. Donations are collected year-round and make a direct impact on students striving to overcome obstacles and stay on track toward achieving their goals.

Tribute Gifts (Honorary & Memorial) – Celebrate or remember someone special by making a gift in their honor or memory. Whether marking a milestone like a birthday, graduation, or retirement, or paying tribute to a loved one, your donation creates a lasting impact. Contributions can be made online, by mail, or by phone at (386) 312-4100.

If you would like assistance with giving to the St. John’s River State College Foundation, please contact our office at 386-312–4100.

All contributions to the SJR State Foundation are considered tax deductible by the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Upon receipt of any gift (including memorial and honorary gifts), we will send the donor a tax receipt letter.
